Respec

Early-access weekly menus for real budgets and schedules.

Respec can build a weekly menu, log a meal from a photo or description, and use prices saved from your receipts. Weight changes and Strava rides can update your daily targets.

  1. A celebration or trip can throw off the menu

Log what happened and review your day. During early access, Respec does not automatically rewrite the remaining weekly menu.

  2. Logging every meal by hand takes time

Photograph your plate or write what you ate. Calories and protein are added to your journal.

  3. Menu prices often differ from the store

The weekly estimate can use prices saved from your receipts. It remains an estimate, not a price guarantee.

daily plan

Your target is recalculated when your weight changes or you log a Strava ride.

budget

Your 7-day menu can use prices from your receipts.

Photograph a receipt from Lidl, Kaufland, or another store. Saved prices can inform the weekly estimate, so you can compare shopping with your budget without treating it as a guarantee.

household

Household sharing starts only after an accepted invitation.

Household members choose whether to share their day and shopping view. A single automatically portioned family menu is not part of the current beta.

from the maker

Why I'm building this

I'm a father balancing three roles. There is almost no time to plan food or cook separate meals. Before that, when I had no work, I had to count every purchase. I lost 15 kg with a rigid app, then gained the weight back when my schedule changed. That's why I'm building Respec for my family and myself. My goal is to make menu planning fit our budget and cooking fit our schedule.

beta

The beta is free.

For now, the beta is free and available by invitation.
